Summary: "Lots of free books. Great way to find new authors"

I get a list of about 10 free books every day or two right on my kindle. Then I can add the ones I like to my kindle. The downside is that there isn't a 1 click add. You click the book and it takes you to the book on the amazon site on your kindle. From there you can add it to the kindle for free. Works for me

I also like to find new authors this way. For example I got a Don Brown book for free so I could see if I like his books.

i dont know why the person before me hates kindle and loves the nook. i have a kindle and its great. downloads books in second with no problems. however, i know someone who owns a nook and it has more bugs than a hotel infested with bedbugs. took hours to get the touch screen working, has had to be replaced once already as it breaks easily and the replacement nook is now broken in several places. contantly locks up and wont respond. dont waste money on the nook buy amazons kindle.

I bought a Nook while at Barnes and Nobel. I love it. I was up and running with downloaded books within 5 minutes. I received my Kindle today. So far I have spent 5 hours trying to get the stupid thing to download the books I already had on my computer from Kindle for PC. I STILL don't have any books loaded on this stupid thing. If I could send it back I would, but it seems you can't send it back if you have opened it! DONT waste your money... go to Barnes and Nobel and get the Nook, it's WELL worth it!

I tried the free subscription, and the two books I was interested in could NOT be downloaded on my Kindle 2, only on computor! Why is it called
FREE BOOKS ON KINDLE if you can't download it to your Kindle? It is very annoying.
